Lifeline Christian Mission started by feeding kids in Haiti. The first years they packed a few thousand meals. With the support of churches around the United States, today ABC food has packed over 5 million meals during the last few years. Their goal is to give the familes a meal that is both nutritious and taste good. ABC’s foodpacks provide 70% of a child’s daily nutrition and one pack can feed a family of six. Lifeline educates the families receiving the meals on nutrition and preparation of the food to help them feed their families, but they also share about Jesus throughout the whole process.
ABC food goes into churches, organizations, and groups by hosting food packing events. They set up an assembly line to work together as a team to pack the food.
Here are the 5 steps to the food packing
- Fill with 4 ingredients
- Weigh the bags
- Seal the bag
- Box them up

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Matthew 25:34–40, ESV *Emphasis Added)
